Sosua
was the favorite beach of the families of Santiago.
Thus its initial tourist rise started.
The establishment of European Jews in 1940 created a great
economic impact giving an impulse to the breeding and the
milk industry.
Two small villages:
* El Batey, with a considerable
tourist development, offering a multitude of bars, restaurants,
disseminated in all its streets.
* Los
Charamicos, a typically creole village.
Sosua has the largest artisanal market of the Atlantic Dimension
offering shops all along the lane leading to the splendid
beach of Sosua. |
